Vortex Tube Applications From Nex Flow™

Vortex tubes are can be made of different materials – some companies make them in aluminum, some in stainless steel but almost all use plastic “generators” inside the units. But a vortex tube is used to “cool”. This means that they are used often in “high temperature environments”. So some companies actually charge “extra” to replace cheap plastic parts. Nex Flow goes the full course – all our vortex tubes are stainless steel, with metal generators and high temperature O-rings – no extra costs for high temperature applications.

For example, in Asia some competitive units which were special, extra-cost so-called high temperature vortex tubes that were used to cool a camera face, were replaced with “standard” lower cost Nex Flow vortex tubes because they required better cooling which Nex Flow was able to give.
